Making the Most of Local Social Services

For most of our clients, there are local social service organizations and programs that could help with job training, housing, adult education and other needs. But in many cases, the client is not connected to those services.

We help close that gap by determining what the client needs and which local service providers might be a match, then verify capacity and advocate for our client to get the most out of the opportunity. Where possible, we recruit additional local support, including social workers and mentors, to work with the exoneree pro bono.

“After innocence has been truly amazing. They have been there for me when I have needed them. With their help, advice and direction things have been easier for me to transition from being wrongfully incarcerated to a free person. Thank you for all you do.”
